Dr. Avriel Linane, D.O., is a board certified neurologist, with specialty training in Epilepsy, who delivers comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients and their families. She cares for men and women with a broad spectrum of neurologic diseases including seizures, headaches, dementia, neuropathic pain, stroke, tremor, and other disorders of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system. Dr. Linane uses a patient centered approach to guide patients in understanding their disease and being involved in the decision-making process for treatment plans and goals. She joined SCNC in 2015, and provides care to patients in the outpatient clinic, as well as in the hospital at Huntington Memorial. Given her two year fellowship training in Epilepsy and Neurophysiology, she is also involved in monitoring brain and spinal cord surgeries (intraoperative monitoring), detecting seizure activity by reading routine and long-term EEGs, and managing the complexities of refractory epilepsy with medication optimization, life style modifications, and evaluation for surgical epilepsy treatments.
