Intrathecal Baclofen Pump Management

For patients with lower extremity spasticity, our office works, with the collaboration of pain management colleagues, in the management and support of intrathecal baclofen pumps, which slowly infuse a precise dose of baclofen medication into the nerves in the lower spine.    Such pumps provide relief of leg spasms, typically found in patients with spinal injuries, brain injuries, stroke, or multiple sclerosis.
