About Kasalyn

Kasalyn is a board-certified nurse practitioner working in General Neurology. Prior to nursing, she was a research technician with the Maternal, Child, Adolescent/Adult Center for Infectious Diseases at LAC-USC Medical Center, focusing on AIDS/HIV mother-to-child transmission. After working closely with nurses who were passionate about patient-centered care, she eventually earned an accelerated Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and shortly after a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner. Interested in continuous implementation of evidence-based practice and in preparation for healthcare’s complex environment, she finally completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice.
