About
Dr. Adena Shahinian, DO is a board-certified neurologist specializing in Epilepsy. Her goal is to provide exceptional neurologic care to the community. Being a Southern California native, Dr. Shahinian has spent time away and returned to her hometown to provide care for her community. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of California Irvine (UCI) with a Bachelors in Psychology. She received her Master’s in Forensic Science from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Dr. Shahinian attended the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM), where she completed her medical school education and completed her residency in Las Vegas. During the course of her residency, Dr. Shahinian trained at a comprehensive stroke center, where she learned to manage complex stroke patients. Finally, she received fellowship training in epilepsy at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Shahinian is most excited about creating genuine connections with her patients, and helping them attain their optimum neurologic health. She hopes to give to the community easy access to neurologic care.
